RELEASE UN-RELENTLESS
Hello! This is a unique poem..I've never written something like this. I call it a Dialogue Poem lol I hope you like it! :)
Someone said, "Be careful what you wish for."
No whisper of, "It will happen, and you cannot change the thoughts and words."
Another said,"Go ahead, sign the dotted line."
No one ever said, "You'll be stripped of your rights."
A friend said, "Try it! It's the next best thing."
Behind your back uttered, "So gullable, they'll try anything."
Lovers told you, "I respect you. Please give us a chance."
To their other lover explained, "It's just a friend. Nothing happened."
I look in the mirror and say, "Who are you becoming?"
My heart answers, "Someone who can have true happiness."
So I turn around
To the calling in my heart
Forgive those
Forgive myself
Begin again
Walking the road
Of a certain path
With specific obligation
For that which
Makes me whole
My soul
Soaring with truth
Love comes softly
It lifts me
Taking me
Where I need to be...
Some powerful affirmations here!
And yes! I love your opening dialogue!

It is a wonderful feeling when someone reads your stuff and really likes it enough to comment. If you really want to smile - for every one comment you get - 20 people looked at the post who wanted to comment - but just did not...
Now keep that smile bright and keep writing Rose
